Richard Huish College was delighted to welcome the Year 5 and 6 choir from North Town School for a morning of Christmas carolling.
The pupils visited the College campus to record a selection of Christmas carols in the Aspen Music Centre. The children rehearsed their songs before using the state-of-the-art studios to record their tracks, ready to share them with friends and family.
The pupils were supported by Music Production students of Huish who managed the technical aspects. The collaboration between the two institutions of the Richard Huish Trust is hoped to become an annual festive treat.
Huish singers, musicians and performers also shared their dramatic and musical talents with the community this week at Taunton Minster Church at their annual Christmas Concert.
Featuring readings and carols, the evening raised spirits at Christmas and funds for the church and Parkinson’s UK.
Furthermore violinists, Arjun Ashok, Nicole Ng and Alana Cottey visited two care homes in days leading up to the concert to entertain residents with their very own festive concerts.
