Our Academies

Benefitting from the collective advantages of working closely with other like-minded partners

Richard Huish is a group of educational organisations that spans early years, primary, and further education, committed to delivering exceptional education for all.

The primary schools within the Trust include both traditional village provision and larger town centre-based schools with all the primary schools providing a nursery/pre-school offer. We work closely with the Diocese of Bath and Wells who in turn support North Curry Primary school which is a church school within Richard Huish Trust.

With Richard Huish College re-designating as a 16-19 academy and formally joining Richard Huish Trust in 2021 the overall student number has increased to circa 4000.

The organisations work closely together in order to provide a wide range of opportunities to ensure that all pupils and students maximise their potential and develop aspirations beyond their expectations. All our organisations are guided by a set of core values that clearly set out the expectations for all members of our community.

The ambition is for all the organisations within Richard Huish Trust to retain their individual autonomy to best serve their local communities whilst also benefitting from the collective advantages of working closely with other like-minded partners.
